TO ALL UA LOCAL 296 MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC

As of today, March 16th 2020, UA Local 296 is monitoring the progression of the COVID-19 Virus as it impacts our community and State.  In an effort to keep intact the health and safety of our members, we are implementing the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control by closing our normal office operations to the general public until April 1st, 2020. We ask that any members needing to do business with the Hall do it via email or phone.

Special Building Trades Meeting:  The meeting concerning Contract Negoations that was scheduled for March 19th, 2020 has been cancelled.  If future meetings are to be cancelled, you will be notified accordingly.

UA Local 296 Job sites:  Local 296 is currently working with all of our contractors as they navigate job site closures.  Should your current job site be impacted, or if you need personal time off, please coordinate with your employer on the most up to date information to avoid unnecessary confusion and miscommunication.

In this unique situation, we do not want to exhibit panic, but instead take extra precautions for the health and wellbeing of our retiree's, members, their families, and especially the elderly who are mostly affected by this.  We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience during this unfortunate occurrence
